Search for "fine dining" on the former -- if you like that sort of thing...?

"Tucker's Marketplace" gives you a free feed on your birthday if not.

The best Mexican is Ahora, but it's not much for atmosphere. Best Chinese is Ging Sing, and it's a nice enough place, but not overwhelmingly so. The East India Company is good food in a good place, if you like Indian. They're quite nice in dealing with birthday parties, too.

Al's Steak House on Elgin does a decent job.

Pub Italia is a nice place to stop in after your main meal.

If you like Indian food I highly recommend Cafe Shafali on Dalhousie. The Keg is pretty good too and there's a new Lonestar restaurant that opened up on the market recently. Oh and Giovanni restaurant on Preston is awesome. Happy birthday!
